Why did you decide to become an independent?
I became an independent after working for the Democrats in college. I began to realize that the problem wasn't that "right wing Republicans" were running the country.
The problem was that the two parties used the political process to lock out ordinary Americans. And we had to do something independent to change it.
The two main political parties have polarized our country by their constant bickering. I vote for the person not the party and sometimes (none of the above) wins out.
